The Corbu–Vadu communal road, modernized with the financial support of Black Sea Oil & Gas, has been inaugurated

Black Sea Oil & Gas (BSOG) announces the completion of the rehabilitation works and official inauguration of the communal road DC83 connecting the villages of Corbu and Vadu, as well as Şcolii Street in the village of Vadu. With a length of 7.6 kilometers and an investment value of approximately 4 million dollars fully supported by Black Sea Oil & Gas and its partners, Petro Ventures Resources and Gas Plus Dacia, the project was completed as per the estimated schedule and means a significant contribution to increasing road safety and the quality of life for the residents of the area. The project was carried out in close collaboration with the local authorities, from the development of technical documentation and obtaining the permits and approvals, to resolving administrative issues on site.
The inauguration of the rehabilitated road was marked by an event held on May 29, dedicated to the local community.

The rehabilitation works included the restoration of the road structure, modern road signage and the implementation of an efficient water drainage system, aimed at reducing the risks of accidents and preventing damage to the infrastructure. Now, accessibility and connectivity between Corbu and Vadu have improved, facilitating local transport and reducing travel time, and has contributed to increasing safety on public roads.

This road will serve the residents of Vadu commune daily and, in the summer season, to the tourists enjoying Vadu beach, in increased safety. We thank Black Sea Oil & Gas for the substantial financial effort and all the involvement in this project”, declared Vasile Lumînare, the mayor of Corbu commune.
