The Business Applications Expert ensures that information systems are kept current and align with BSOG management strategic direction and business objectives while maximizing value and productivity from existing and developing business IT tools and systems. He ensures that data and software management best practices and principles are applied and add value to all assigned company processes to rigorously maintain control and traceability of data and software management across all company processes and activities.


  • Perform research and develop new systems and applications for new and present business processes.
  • Support on the administration of business software applications/systems.
  • Actively involvement for implementation of any new software application and present/support to process owners of existing software functionalities which can be used and which can improve the business performance.
  • Create and maintain the Company Software Architecture and Company Data Catalogue.
  • Manage and provide support and training to the critical business applications and other Microsoft available apps.
  • Monitor everyday operations of Software applications usage and provide regular reports and statistics.
  • Ensure the correct application of the IT & Data Management standards and procedures and issuing of nonconformity when is the case.
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the IT & Data Management procedures within the Company.
  • Users support (internals and externals) in BSOG corporate Software applications and Microsoft or similar tools like Office suite, Share Point, One Drive, Share Drive, PowerBI, DMS, etc. (where applicable).
  • Develop professional relations with software applications software providers and establish effective solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Create scope of work document for new business applications implementations based on best practices.
  • Develop specific requirements for business applications contracts and keep a good control of the Software Applications services according to contracts.
  • Support on budget planning and manage all operations within control expenses.
  • Assist internal departments and provide regular feedback, reports and statistics to IT & Data Manager and other relevant roles on software applications usage and other useful business information to improve the existing Company business processes.
  • Develop and maintain the necessary dashboards, graphs and statistics based on the departments’ availability data using Power BI or other similar tools.
  • Work with business relevant roles and IT team and manage all BSOG Projects and Corporate requirements related to configuration of specific software tools chosen.
  • Determine and analyse various business processes and implement changes for improvement.
  • Ensure the use of standardized forms and templates across the Company and development of dynamic forms using the Microsoft or similar tools.
  • Liaise with and IT & Data Management team, Quality team and external Contractors/Vendors/Authority to ensure proper implementation of IT and Data Management requirements and compliance with legal requirements, company standards and processes.
  • Communicate and liaise with Operations, Corporate Departments, Projects Teams to improve the workflows and control of documentation using the suitable software tools.
  • Job crash troubleshooting, problem analysis and solution.
  • Ensuring the new starters (internals and externals) receive an induction and appropriate training for Business Applications which should be used according to the job needs.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar;
  • Minimum 7 years work experiences in IT & Data management area;
  • Work experiences in business applications area, business analysis, IT Architecture;
  • Very good knowledge of software business applications like Microsoft Office 365 suite;
  • Administration of DMS, ERP, CRM systems and other relevant implementations is an advantage;
  • Basic knowledge in SQL and Oracle database administration is an advantage;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English;
  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable training.
