JOB SCOPE

The IT/OT Project Manager is accountable for the effective and efficient management of projects (including staff coordination), initiatives within and towards BSOG and coordination of the development systems for IT (including ERP) or OT Systems, to ensure continuous development, including planning, analysis, prioritizing the components following to be achieved and deadlines for implementation of projects, and the harmonization and improvement of processes, applications, services, organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing, structuring, planning, coordinating, and implementing defined projects in time, scope and budget, incl. timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
  • Manages the project process stakeholders, consults them, and make them familiar with the necessary Company, Industry and International standards, specifications and Best Practices. Continuously analyses and evaluates changing customer requirements/business needs and proactively proposes process improvement opportunities and necessities.
  • Manages the decision processes (e.g., FID – Final Investment Decision, Tollgates incl. preparations) by ensuring process compliance, project presentation quality, PM standard requirements considering the needed information from the involved parties.
  • Provides the interface and maintains a close and effective relationship with BSOG contractors and other stakeholders to the project.
  • Ensure the right communication and improve Project status reporting, according to internal rules and KPIs.
  • Create the SOW and collect all inputs from BSOG relevant roles based on Process and Data Ownership.
  • Leads sourcing strategy and implementation for complex and large projects in alignment with procurement, legal and vendor management.
  • Contributes to setting project evaluation KPI´s and works closely with key stakeholders to monitor progress and utilize lessons learned.
  • Leads a team of specialists, professionals, or experts (internals and externals) to implement project tasks. Works closely with the IT & Data Manager and other relevant roles at a tactical level.
  • Regularly reports project progress to senior management and other relevant roles. Ensures that relevant systems are maintained and contributes to improving/developing systems.
  • Ensuring a good traceability of the project documentation (deliverables and others) based on the procedures of the Document Control Company.
  • Ensuring training for any IT and OT system implementation.
  • Ensuring a very good handover process from design to operations consisting of an acceptance protocol form.
  • Identifies the risks, analyses them, and identifies the solutions for their mitigation or removal.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION

Technical knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT
  • 7+ years’ experience in the PM Area
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in an IT Project Management Role
  • Extensive experience in project/program management experience for different type of projects especially for ERP implementation
  • Proven project delivery experience, including supplier management and financial governance.
  • Very good understanding of application implementation and maintenance processes, concepts, risks and KPI’s
  • Strong project management skills, covering the complete life cycle and proficiency in relevant tools
  • Experience in 3rd party management, negotiation skills, and IT contract knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • PMI (PMP) project management certification is desired but not essential
  • Understanding of Budgeting, Capital and Operational expenditure
  • Experience in managing projects involving technical solutions through RFI, RFP, and OJEU processes is advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, business informatics or otherwise gained similar experience
  • Several years of experience in leading IT projects in Infrastructure and Cloud environment.
  • Knowledge and usage of project management methodologies. Certification(s) in the areas of PMP, Prince, Scrum Master/Product Owner/PMI-ACP/SaFe/Design Thinking are desirable
  • English knowledge – advanced level
  • Understanding of ISO / OSI model
  • SLA and KPI
  • Cybersecurity for Network.

Abilities

  • Ability to prioritize multiple team’s tasks and organize in order to obtain the expected results in due time
  • Communication/presentation/moderation skills from the technical level up to the management
  • Advanced communication, negotiation and interaction skills, strong decision taker and promoter of management decisions, good presentation skills
  • Change Management knowledge and excellent Stakeholder Management skills
  • Experience in moderating and executing solution-oriented workshops
  • Ability to identify, analyse and remove the risks at department/SL level.
