Maintenance Manager

• Maintain and, where possible, improve the Reliability, Availability and Maintainability of the MGD Project onshore and offshore facilities;
• Increase the site operational effectiveness by mean time between failure and downtime reduction;
• Lead the Maintenance Department (onshore and offshore) so as to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant, machinery and emergency equipment;
• Implement and manage continuous improvement by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes;
• Ensure the Permit to Work (PTW) system is adhered to and that all isolations are in compliance with the company Isolation Philosophy.

ACTIVITIES

• Manage, coach and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements;
• Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems;
• Review, implement and update company records e.g. training matrices, performance reviews, risk assessments;
• Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works;
• Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively;
• Lead the asset planning process for short/mid/ long term planning of maintenance and intervention activities;
• Ensure implementation as per maintenance plan of all activities and manage all contractor and subcontractors to ensure timely execution and in the limits of approved budget;
• Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
• Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure;
• Manage systems and equipment data storage and maintain high levels of standards and accuracy;
• Prepare, monitor and control budgets for the Maintenance Department;
• Manage and control the Facility’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO);
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems;
• Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization;
• Lead Continuous Improvement by developing, standardizing, and/or supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives;
• Lead the maintenance and records of all safety critical elements and ensure performance standards required by the Verification scheme with respect to plant and machinery are met;
• Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility;
• Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting;
• Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department;
• Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements;
• Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors;
• Lead spare parts storage and preservation planning and activities, timely ordering and requisitions of all required tools and materials, ensuring full availability at all times;
• Ensure the facilities and equipment are to the highest appropriate standards and in a state of readiness and that the facilities certificates are up to date;
• Prepare, implement and update policies and procedures and oversee the plant mechanical integrity program which includes Vibration Analysis, RCFA, Oil Analysis, Infrared Analysis, Maintenance Workflow, and other developing reliability programs;
• Manage and conduct all bunkering operations in accordance with applicable procedures and rules;
• Liaise with the OIM and other departments, ensuring awareness of maintenance activities.
